Social advertizing in Russia makes Russians better

Social advertizing is not so popular in Russian Federation as it may seem. Even lots of years ago social advertizing took an important place in our life. All Russians who lived in those years remember social posters and television spots where concepts of liability were declared. The following mottos were so much popular: “Save Soviet nature, it’s our mpther”, “Matches are not toys for boys” etc. All these social advertisments were sponsored by the government and created by official institutions. Nowadays everything has changed and we can find many silly social advertising which is sponsored by official government, non-governmental organizations and private persons. Much money is spent every year on various social campaigns which are created by Russian media campaigns with video spots, social posters, mottos etc.
A lot of international organizations work on the territory of Russian Federation and a great deal of social ads from all over the world can ve found now in former Soviet Union. I am sure that it is really great as we have a unique chance to use best international experience in the sphere of social advertizing as our own traditions in this area are very weak but we have many ideas and creative people who can make all them true. That’s why various contests of social advertizing are so popular nowadays in Russian Federation and many professional promotion firms took an active part in such kind of competitions and if you enter RuTube you can search for many social spots shooted by the leading local organizations but usually the visualization of social ideas leaves much to be desired. Still there are quite a lot of popular social movies on alcohol addiction and other problems. But certainly, we should always keep in mind about the following situation in Russia and the main difficulties which the government has to deal with. One of such difficulties is demographic decrease as too many people die in Russia and they understand that they should force families to give more births. As an example of social advertising which concentrated on demographic difficulties we can state on social posters which were placed in Moscow subway with a woman with 3 girls on her knees. This post is more uncertain rather than gives replys as there is no man on this poster and the lady looks disappointed.
I think that social advertising in Russia just starts its way and in the nearest future we will see lots of great examples of video spots and social posters as well as complicated social campaigns.
